Just back from a lovely stay at Dream Catcher Cottage. The owners had thought of everything with a welcome pack and dog blankets. The house was spotlessly clean and spacious. Excellent location, under 10 mins to the town center. Well-kept and comfortable with a book detailing Dracula-inspired areas. Parking was a bit tricky but manageable. Highly recommend and would definitely return.
Couldn't recommend more this hotel.

The location of Dream Catcher Cottage was perfect for exploring the charming town of Whitby. The cottage itself was clean, tidy, and beautifully decorated, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the cottage provided all the necessary amenities, including a highchair, potty, stair gates, and even supplies for our furry friend. The welcome basket was a lovely touch, and the beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. We also appreciated the thoughtful extras, such as toiletries, towels, and a fully working kitchen. Additionally, the availability of free parking in the nearby streets was a convenient bonus.
Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the difficulty in finding parking on the narrow roads and the lack of clear instructions for the oven, these were relatively small issues that did not significantly impact our overall experience at Dream Catcher Cottage.

I chose this hotel for attending a council as it provides the romanticism of Whitby by taking a trip on board a traditional steam train. The facilities were well-maintained, clean and comfortable, ensuring a pleasant stay.
One service that I missed for my work was a dedicated business center or meeting room for conducting meetings or working on important tasks.

The value for money at Dream Catcher Cottage was excellent, with spacious rooms and a fully equipped kitchen. The location was also great, although the steep hill may be challenging for those with mobility issues. The staff were welcoming and even provided a thoughtful welcome basket.
The breakfast menu could benefit from some improvements, perhaps by adding a greater variety of options.

The location was great, with easy access to the nearby attractions and a short walk to the town center. The rooms were a good size and provided excellent value for money. We also appreciated the goody box and the thoughtful extras left for our dogs and children.
the cleanliness of the property was subpar. There were dust and dirt in various areas, and we even found broken glass in the living room.

The place was hella safe and had everything we needed for our crew of young party animals. We even had an epic boat trip where we felt like legit pirates on the high seas. Plus, the cottage was perfect for our wild adventures and had all the gear we needed. And yo, the biking nearby was sick!
We just wished they had a banging sound system in the cottage for our crazy party sessions. Really missed having those sick beats to turn up the fun to the max!

I absolutely loved the charming decor of the hotel. The cozy furniture and beautiful wall art created a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The general areas of the hotel were impeccably maintained, with comfortable seating areas where I could relax and admire the surroundings. As a senior woman, I appreciated how accessible the hotel was, with no steep stairs or difficult navigation to worry about.
If I had to ask for one thing to make the vacation even better for senior people like me, it would be for the hotel to provide an elevator. Although the staff's children were always willing to assist with luggage, having an elevator would make it easier for seniors to move around the hotel without relying on others.

The location was absolutely amazing, just a short walk away from the heart of the city. The house itself was meticulously maintained and incredibly comfortable. We were pleased to find a book highlighting the Dracula-inspired areas in the surroundings. Even though parking could be a bit tricky, we never had to walk more than a minute or two to reach our car. All the modern amenities worked flawlessly, and we were particularly impressed with the decent shower and the comfortable beds. The living space was cozy and perfect for our family with three kids. The wifi was surprisingly strong too. We had an incredible time and would definitely consider staying again.

Excellent location, spacious rooms, good value for money. Kitchen and toilet lights need fixing but overall clean and comfortable. Heating took some figuring out but eventually worked. Sofa bed was easy to use once we found the bedding.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a lovely property in a great location by the sea. The house was very well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. I appreciated the thoughtful touch of a book detailing the Dracula-inspired locations in the area. Despite the parking being a bit of a lottery, I never had to walk more than a minute or two to my car. The modern amenities worked perfectly, and the shower was decent. The beds were comfortable, and the living space was cozy. The WiFi was also reliable. Additionally, the welcome pack and extra touches for dogs and children were much appreciated.
I must mention that the bed sizes on the top floor were not suitable for adults and the stairs were steep and narrow, making it challenging for those with mobility issues. I also noticed that the cleanliness was not up to par, with dust on the windows, lamps, and stairs, as well as hair and sweet wrappers left under the single beds.
